Melissa was a godsend to our family! Being new to the area, she helped our daughter feel welcomed and cared for immediately. She communicated with us and made sure our daughter was able to align with her education as quickly as possible. She is qualified, compassionate, and professional. Cannot say enough great things!

Melissa is a wonderful, faith-filled person, a wealth of knowledge and is so encouraging to those she works with. She takes the time to really know the whole child, not just their academic performance. She understands their unique personalities, strengths and struggles and matches her teaching style to their individual needs versus forcing them to fit a mold. She truly gives her heart to ensuring each kid finds success in their own way through supporting the whole child—mind, body, emotions and soul. She helped my family navigate and advocate the process for getting my son diagnosed with dyslexia as well as supported my son through confidence and perfectionist struggles. He truly flourished under Melissa. She is a valuable, trusted resource I still turn to when questions arise in how to best support my own children’s learning.

Testimonials
Dear Mrs. Patterson,
I am glad I have the opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible impact you have had on my son during his time in your class. My son was excited to go to school and he still misses Mrs. Patterson. It’s not every day that a teacher leaves such a lasting impression. Your patience, dedication and genuine care for your students have not gone unnoticed. My son not only grew academically but also in confidence, and much of that is thanks to your encouragement and support.
Thank you for going above and beyond for believing in every student and for inspiring them to do their best.
With sincere appreciation,
Karina A.
